A New York State of Mind: Weekend Getaway!

Restlessness Never Felt So Good for the Soul!

From subway shenanigans to bridal showering, a weekend in New York City was the perfect "friendcation" getaway, and it all stemmed from celebrating LOVE.

I am so honored to be a part of a fantastic BRIDE TRIBE celebrating the union of my linesister and her long time friend, and that means TRAVELING ( and I guess obsessing over wedding details). Her wedding brought new memories in Miami, NYC, and soon to come, beautiful Malibu, Ca.

Nonetheless, celebrating love came with the opportunity to deepen my NYC experience, and I am thrilled to share.

The shower was held at PS Kitchen, an eclectic vegan bistro in Manhattan where we enjoyed custom cocktails, avocado toast, sweet and sour mushrooms (just like chicken, but not), fried artichoke, and of course cake. This was the perfect venue to shower a bride without guilt eating prior to the final fitting! Trust me, just because it was vegan didn't mean it lacked the flavor. I highly recommend this venue for small, boutique gatherings.

We moved the after party to the rooftop of The Moxy Hotel , a boutique hotel with a hipster vibe and amazing chicken tenders (we had enough vegan food for the day). I highly recommend this rooftop for the view, group games and activities, and fun photo opportunities.

The fun didn't end with the bride. Sunday Funday was in full effect at Temeario . Please do yourself a favor and visit during brunch for the Bottomless Bar for 1.5 hours. The food is delicious, I opted for the Huarache - Steak and Eggs, which needed no extra seasoning. Perfection!!!

New York City was a blast and I can't wait for my next visit. Message me any "must haves" in NYC so I can make sure to add to my bucket list.
