Let's Spill the Beans: It's Official, I'm a Pot Head!

From hearing Michelle Obama speak, receiving FREE VIP tickets to the MINDBODY Conference in San Diego, and officially becoming a pothead at Spill the Beans Coffee + Bagel shop, I can clearly say this past weekend was one for the books..

See, it's important to count your blessings. I didn't have tickets to this awesome conference, but a higher power was definitely working, because I received an email the day of offering my Kinetic Studio team FREE TICKETS. We dropped our plans, packed our bags, and took a mini road trip to San Diego to experience it in all its greatness. MINDBODY is a technology platform supporting the fitness and wellness industries and the technology Kinetic uses to power the studio. This conference brought together hundreds of enthusiast, educators, and experts to spread knowledge and camaraderie --not to mention, they had lots and lots of food. All my foodies will understand how that took my excitement to another level. Most importantly, we were able to learn from other fitness enthusiast about optimal mobility and sustainable communities. The cherry on top was hearing former First Lady, Michelle Obama speak about her personal story and policy initiatives advocating for universal wellness.

Nonetheless, I couldn't leave San Diego without trying something new, and that was a local coffee shop in the Gaslamp District, Spill the Beans. I opted for an almond milk, iced chai tea latte with a shot of espresso (who doesn't love a more enthused coach?). I officially became a pot head and was inducted as an honorary local. I highly recommend this shop for any caffeine fanatics looking for fix. You definitely won't be disappointed.
